What is the process for communications support requests?

  1. Get all your briefing information together. Think about:
    1. What outcomes you want from the request.
    2. Who your communication is aimed at.
    3. Who is the intended audience?
    4. What is your core message?
    5. What media you want to use? eg Facebook, email, radio, poster.
    6. The information and content you might need to provide, such as:
      1. Photos, logos or other images.
      2. Text, quotes, story or event details.
      3. URLs and links.
      4. Online or printed examples of what you'd like to see.

  2. Take this information to your manager for review and approval.

  3. After your manager has approved your request and information, lodge a communications support request by clicking the IT & Comms Support quicklink on our intranet home page. Make sure to select Communications Support as the ticket category.

  4. Once you have submitted your support request, a notification is sent to our communications officer, who will take appropriate actions to fulfil your request.
